Glasgow, Ky. – On Wednesday Evening, T.J. Regional Health posted a message to their Facebook page.
The message stated that the emergency department is experiencing an unusually high surge of COVID patients and that wait times are significantly longer than normal. They ask for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
Anyone needing emergency treatment is encouraged to use any of their locations, as their team is working around the clock to continue to provide the same level of care as always.
If you have only mild COVID symptoms (or a recent exposure with no symptoms) and simply need a COVID-19 test, you are encouraged to go to Urgent Care from 7am – 7pm daily.
As of Wednesday T.J. Community Hospital has 29 inpatients with COVID-19. 4 of which are vaccinated.
