On Monday, August 16, the Glasgow Police Department responded to Hollis Thomas Road in reference to a theft investigation that led to two people being arrested.
Sgt. Hicks made contact with Rufus Huff and confirmed that he was in possession of a stolen vehicle along with stolen items from Wal-Mart.
Officers confirmed the stolen vehicle had been wrecked and the damages exceeded $1,000.

Rufus Huff, 23, of Glasgow, was arrested on the following charges:
- Theft by Unlawful Taking/Disposition – Automobile – $10,000 or more but u/$1,000,000
- Theft by Unlawful Taking/Disposition – Shoplifting u/$500
- 1st degree Criminal Mischief

Corey Craig, 25, of Glasgow, was also arrested and charged with:
- 3rd degree Burglary
- Receiving stolen property u/$500
