There are road projects in nearly every corner of our listening area that could have an impact as you travel throughout the week.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of I-65 will be down to two lanes from mile marker 28 to mile marker 13, with northbound going down to one lane overnight.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet urges motorists to use caution and expect delays.
In Barren County, a bridge deck restoration project has started on New Bowling Green Road at the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Expressway overpass. The work is expected to be finished by the middle of this month.
A similar project has started on Park City-Bon Ayr Road at the Louis B. Nunn Cumberland Expressway overpass. The bridge is reduced to one lane.
In Metcalfe County, KY 2399 (mile points 0.0 – 2.1): Look for road crews on A.H. Boston Road/Cork Gascon Road beginning from U.S. 68 and extending east to KY 80.
- KY 496 (mile points 3.3 – 6.3) – road work will continue on Subtle Road beginning from Subtle Garret Creek Road extending north to Phelps Dunham Road.
- Flaggers will be on site.
- US 68 Glasgow Road (mile points 0.0 – 5.0) – A preventative maintenance project is expected to start on Glasgow Road beginning at the Barren County line, then extending east to Depp Road.
- Motorists should expect flaggers to be present on all three Metcalfe County projects.
