Carole Ray Sanders, age 90, departed this life on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. The Edmonson County native was born on July 30, 1930 to the late Clyde Noah and Beulah Renfro Ray. She was married to Henry “Tommy” Sanders, Jr., who preceded her in death.
Carole was a homemaker, and previously worked as a seamstress at the local sewing factory. She was a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church.
She leaves to honor her memory– her children, Cindy Sanders of Bowling Green and Tony Sanders (Tammy) of Brownsville; a grandson, Daniel Sanders; a brother, Luther Ray (Charlotte) of Chalybeate; sisters-in-law, Janelle Ray, Sue Sanders and Carolyn Sanders, along with several nieces and nephews.
