Sunday afternoon shooting; one injured

Glasgow City Police will be continuing their investigation today into a shooting that took place around 4:30 yesterday afternoon at Speedway.  The store is located at the busy intersection of Grandview Avenue and the Bypass.  Preliminary investigation indicates that an altercation between two men in the parking lot of the store resulted in one of them being shot in the leg.  Barren Metcalfe Ambulance personnel transported the victim to T.J. Samson with what has been described as a single gunshot would.  Further details will be forthcoming from Glasgow Police.
