Margie Murphy Jones age 94 of Munfordville passed away Saturday, May 22nd at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Facility. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas & Eliza Roseanna Nunn Jones.
Margie was a retired employee from Louisville Bedding and she was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Harry Murphy & Harry Jones, brothers and sisters Audry Patterson(Earl), Tressie Jeffries(Bruce), Marie Evans(Don), Hauty Rock(Willie), Vera Rock(Henry), Archie Jones(Geneva), Raymond Jones(Kathleen), Herbert Jones(Edna), Luther Jones(Lillian) & Reuben Fancher(Bet).
Margie is survived by a sister Reba O’Banion of Hardyville
Several nieces & nephews including her nieces & nephew that were her caregivers Linda Cooper, Roseanna Bishop, Alison Edwards, Eugene Kerr & Pam Wheeler
Funeral services for Margie Murphy Jones will be 1pm Wednesday, May 26th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 8am Wednesday until time for services at the Sego Funeral Home.
