Terry C. Davis, age 80, of Glasgow, KY., passed away May 12, 2021 at Glenview Nursing Home. He was born in Glasgow, KY. To Mitchell and Cloteel Davis. Terry is survived by his son Scott, of Glasgow, KY., his brother Jerry of Tallahassee, FL., and his sister Shelby Jean Harris of Owensboro, KY. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Mae Johnson of Frankfort, KY.
Terry graduated from Glasgow High School and Western Kentucky University. He served with the United States Air Force at several stateside posts and abroad in Japan and Vietnam from 1960 to 1964. Following his military service, Terry worked at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, the Glasgow ambulance service, and as a park ranger at Mammoth Cave National Park.
Terry was helped through a prolonged illness and Covid -19 Pandemic by his nephew, Kelly Wood of Glasgow.
Graveside services to be held at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery have not been finalized.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to South Central Kentucky Cultural Center “Museum of the Barrens” or to Mammoth Cave National Park, Mammoth Cave, KY.
