Michael Kerry Scott, 50, of Gamaliel, Kentucky died Friday, May 14, 2021,at The Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.. He was born in 1970 the son of the late Gene and Janete Ruth (Turner)Scott. He was a member of Milestown Church of Christ. He was retired from Countryside Furniture and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid UK Basketball fan. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tonya Renee (Vinson) Scott; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Scott and Michaela Ruthann Scott both of Gamaliel; two sons, Dillon Ray Huff, and wife Katie of Summer Shade and Kerry Wayne Scott of Gamaliel; two brothers, Ricky Scott and wife Rosemary of Pennsylvania, and Terry Scott of Tompkinsville; three sisters, Debra Cherry, and husband Randy of Hermitage Springs, TN, Kathy Reagan and husband Jon of Gamaliel and Melissa Emberton and husband John of Glasgow ; one granddaughter Ashlynn Rae Huff also survives. Funeral services for Michael Scott will be 1:00 pm Monday at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel with burial in the Harlan’s Crossroads Cemetery. The visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday morning after 8:00 am until time for the service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated by the family for funeral expenses and these may be made at the funeral home or mailed to Bartley & Sons Funeral Home, 204 Columbia Avenue, Tompkinsville KY 42167.
