FRANKLIN, Ky. — A Simpson County man is in jail after Kentucky State Police arrested him in relation to a rape investigation.
Post 3 was contacted to investigate rape allegations. A female had reported she was raped at her home.
John D. Ellis, 65, of Franklin, was identified as a possible suspect. Detectives located Ellis and interviewed him.
Ellis faces a first degree rape charge, second degree burglary and kidnapping an adult.
Ellis is lodged at the Simpson County Jail.
