Freddie Scott, 95, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, May 9th, at VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Freddie was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on September 26, 1925, a son of the late Grace (Turner) and Sam Claude Scott.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, 4 months and 16 days.
On December 24, 1949, he married Cassie Scott in Reno, Nevada. Cassie preceded him in death on December 3, 1998,
Freddie is survived by a sister, Mary Humes, and husband, Kenneth; a brother, Jack Paul Scott, and wife, Juanita; and sister-in-law, Geneva Scott, all of Tompkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and William Scott, and a sister, Dorothy Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 11th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY with Mark Coots officiating. Burial to follow at Old Mt. Herman Cemetery.
Visitation with the family is after 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
