Dudley W. Sanders Jr.

Dudley W. Sanders Jr., 82, of Smiths Grove passed away at 1:39 AM Wednesday May 5, 2021 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Edmonson County native was a Sunfish High School graduate, a retired Philip Morris Mechanic and a US Army veteran. He was a son of the late Dudley W. Sanders Sr. and Ann Vorkapich Sanders. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Sanders; two brothers, William “Sonny” Sanders and Charles Lee “Chick” Sanders; and a sister, Linda Theobold. No services are scheduled at this time. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Surviving are his wife, Geretta Torrence Sanders; two sons, Shanon Sanders (Phil Johnson) of Clarkston, MI and Dudley Sanders III (Brenda) of Louisville; two grandchildren, Leslie Sanders and Michele Spears; and five great grandchildren.
