Mildred Harston Turner, 98, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, retired piano teacher who played for numerous weddings and funerals, former member of the First Methodist Church and White Plains Free Methodist where she served as organist and attended East Willow Church of God.  She was the daughter of the late Elzie Clayton Pruitt and Mary Elizabeth Shropshire and wife of the late Frank Willard Harston and George Jewell Turner. 

She is survived by 1 daughter:  Michelle Creek and husband, Greg, Scottsville, KY; 2 granddaughters:  Maleiah Creeger and husband, Bucky, and Macey Weaver and husband, Dylan, all of Scottsville, KY; 2 great grandchildren:  Kinsley Creeger and Liam Creeger; 2 step grandsons:  Mark Turner and wife, Jodi, Gilbert, AZ and Brian Turner and wife, Kathy, Buckeye, AZ; 4 step great grandchildren:  Landon Turner and wife, Laura; Johanna Turner, Melissa Veo and Meredith Graffious. 

She was preceded in death by a son:  Sherill Dewayne Harston and 2 step sons:  Phillip Turner and Bill Turner. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Derick Marr officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideons or East Willow Missions Fund.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.  The family requests that Mrs. Harston’s piano students who attend her service be seated in a section reserved for them.  According to the CDC guidelines, face masks are required and there is NO PUBLIC lounge available.
