Billy Joe Sheffield, 67, of Tompkinsville, KY died Monday, May 3rd,
at Monroe County Medical Center.
Billy Joe was born in 1953, a son of the late Elva Mae (High) and William C. “Billy” Sheffield. He was of Baptist Faith. He worked as a farmer for many years.
Billy Joe is survived by his wife, Patricia Sheffield; three daughters and
sons-in-law, Mary Beth Williams and Joshua, Kellie Combs and Casey, and
Carrie McClendon, and Jonathan, all of Tompkinsville, KY; a son and
daughter-in-law, Matthew Sheffield and Molly, of the Lamb community; and 8
grandchildren.
Funeral services for Billy Joe Sheffield will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Wednesday 4-8 PM, and Thursday, after 9:00 AM until
service time at 1:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy Joe’s memory can be made to the
American Diabetes Association.
