Martha Meadows Hiser, age 65, of the Monroe Community passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky. She was a native of Hart County and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She loved her church family. She worked many years at R.R. Donnelly and Nemak. She loved giving to others and made many baby quilts for newborns. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Tweedy; one sister, Cheryl Meadows; two brothers, Wayne Meadows and Kenny Meadows; one son-in-law, Waylon White.
She is survived by her husband, Ira Hiser; two daughters, Christy Thomas (Joey) and kitty White; one son, Buck Hiser (Ashlea); four grandsons, Taylor McNeill, Seth Chapman, Trent Thomas, and Christian Derry; two granddaughters, Kaitlin White and Kaylee White; one great-granddaughter, Izzy McNeill; two great-grandsons, Raylon Butler and Kane White; one sister, Pat Bagby (Howard); one brother, Roger Meadows; one aunt, Catherine Lawson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 at Winn Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
