Brenda Mae Elmore, 71, of Wingfield passed away April 29, 2021 at
Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
The Edmonson County native was a retired WKU housekeeper. She was a daughter of
The late Wesley Potter and Ella Mae Cowles Potter and the wife of the late
Robert Elmore. She was preceded in death by nine siblings, James Edward
Potter, Willadean Massey, Zelma Holder, Louise Wilson, Ralph Potter, Billy
Potter, Chloe Weglowski, Marjorie Brennestuhl and Thomas Potter.
Funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Wingfield United Baptist Church, where
She was a member, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be11
AM-3 PM at the church.
Surviving are a son, Robert Shannon Elmore (Stacey) of Wingfield; her caregiver,
Marsha Kelley of Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Karen Elmore and Bradley
Vanzant; three great grandchildren, Ryker Lee Hinson, Conrad Chambers Vanzant
andMaykenzee Vanzant; and several nieces and nephews.
