Frances Marie Petty, 87, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and member of Maple Grove General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Marshal Owen Wolfe and Pernie Edna Huntsman Wolfe and wife of the late Earl C. “Slick” Petty.
She is survived by 2 sons: Jerry Petty, Greenfield, IN and Terry Petty and wife, Vanessa, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Louis Wolfe and wife, Ann, Westmoreland, TN;
1 sister: Carolyn Turner and husband, Jimmy, Scottsville, KY;
3 brothers-in-law: Buel “Red” Petty and wife, Sue, Scottsville, KY; Wayne Petty, Arizona and Joe Calvert, Greenfield, IN;
6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Gary D. Petty; a grandson: Gary J. Petty and a brother: Larry Owen Wolfe.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Marsh officiating and burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Union Chapel Cemetery.
