Ruby Jewell Bragg, age 77, of Park City, KY, departed this life on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her residence. The Barren County native was born on July 4, 1943 to the late Lawrence Pedigo and Vera Sexton Pedigo. She was married to the late Avery Earl Bragg.
Ruby was saved at the age of twelve at Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until her death. During her illness, she enjoyed singing hymns with her family. She worked as a greeter for Walmart.
She leaves to honor her memory— three sisters, Dorothy Carter of Cave City, Mary Pedigo Poole of Cave City and Nancy Johnson of Hiseville; one brother, Gene Pedigo of Park City; several nieces and nephews, that she loved as her own, and a special friend, Bob Jolly. Besides her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Pedigo; one sister, Shirley Pedigo; two nephews; one niece and one great-niece.
Interment will be in Bragg Shirley Cemetery.
