(BARREN COUNTY JAIL)

GLASGOW, Ky. — Authorities arrested Friday a Cave City man after a reckless driving complaint was reported.

Officer Hunter Carroll conducted a traffic stop and made contact with 53-year-old Teddy Oden. Police detected an odor of alcohol coming from Oden, a news release said.

Officer Carroll confirmed Oden’s license was suspended and he was under the influence. Oden has a long history of DUI offenses, but police did not specify how many offenses he’s been charged with formerly.

Oden faces charged of operating a motor vehicle under the influence (fourth or greater offense), first degree wanton endangerment and third degree terroristic threatening. Additional charges relating to alcoholic beverage possession in a motor vehicle were also noted.
