Floyd Lindle Johnson

Floyd Lindle Johnson, age 91, of  Louisville and formerly of Bowling Green, departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center. The Butler County native was born on February 8, 1930 to the late Noah and Anna Phelps Johnson.  He was married to Virginia Wells Johnson, who also preceded in death.

Floyd was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and served during World War II.  He  retired from General Electric, where he worked in quality control.   He was a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church and Shawnee Masonic Lodge #830 F&AM.

He leaves to honor his memory– his son, Neal Johnson of Louisville; granddaughter, Melinda Johnson Miller; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Rachel Miller; a sister-in-law, Pat Cena (Carl) of Chalybeate along with several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to: American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.

Interment will be in Pleasant Union Church Cemetery.
