GLASGOW, Ky. — A truck crashed Wednesday into a pain clinic near T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
Glasgow Police responded to Professional Park Drive in reference to the injury accident.
A person attempted to pull into the Interventional Pain Specialist Clinic and then suffered a “medical emergency,” police said.
Jerry Cornwell, of Glasgow, was driving the 1999 Chevy truck that crashed into the building. Cornwell apparently hit the accelerator instead of the vehicle’s brake. That’s when his truck drove through the front of the building.
Cornwell and a passenger, Loretta Garrett, also of Glasgow, was inside the truck. Both were transported to Barren-Metcalfe EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
No one inside the building was injured, a news release said.
