Robert Brown, 29, was arrested Thursday after he attempted to purchase a firearm.

GLASGOW, Ky. — An IPO stopped a Glasgow man who attempted to buy a firearm at Rural King.
Sgt. Wesley Hicks responded to the store Thursday and determined Robert Brown, 29, had attempted to purchase a firearm from Rural King. He was denied purchase.
Hicks confirmed Brown was the respondent of a Kentucky Interpersonal Protective Order. It stated he could not possess, reside where firearms are available or attempt to obtain any firearms.
Brown was arrested and charged with violation of IPO.
