GLASGOW, Ky. — The Trojan Trek 5K Run will cause various traffic impacts this weekend.
The race supports United Way of Southern Kentucky. The organization has created various outreach programs across the region in areas like education, emergency assistance and recently established COVID funding.
“We hope to raise money for our local branch of United Way to continue those efforts,” according to a press release from the organization.
Various intersections will have an officer or volunteers assisting with traffic control.

The 5K event will be a live race held at Weldon Park in Glasgow on Saturday, April 10. The run begins at 8 a.m.
“This event is a closed course and both runners and walkers are welcome to register,” according to a news release.
Race fees are $25 for runners and $20 for walkers. The top three runners in each age group will receive recognition.
