GLASGOW, Ky. — An Allen County woman recently stole a vehicle in Barren County, police say.
Police responded Friday to Old Bowling Green Road in reference to a complaint. Authorities made contact with 41-year-old Amanda Glaab.
Glaab apparently arrived at a residence with the intent to find someone who didn’t live there. Police discovered Glaab was driving a stolen vehicle.
The owner of the car confirmed it had been stolen from his place of employment along Industrial Drive.
Glaab was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition (auto) $10,000 or more but under $1 million. She also faces a public intoxication charge.
Glad was released from the Barren County Jail Monday just before 7 p.m., according to jail records. She appeared in court Monday.
