Annie Espersen, 23, was arrested and charged with several drug related offenses.

GLASGOW, Ky. — Police in Glasgow responded Saturday to Budget Storage facility along East Main Street due to a disturbance complaint.
Officers arrived and made contact with 23-year-old Annie Espersen of Hart County. Police detected an odor of marijuana from inside the storage unit. The officer received consent to search the unit and discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Espersen was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
She was also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor. Police did not specify details surrounding the charge.
Espersen was released from the Barren County Jail Monday. She was released on a $2,500 bond. She’s scheduled to appear in court on April 22.
