Timmie Meredith

Timmie Meredith, age 70 of Bee Spring, died Saturday, March 13.  He was born in 1950 to the late Laymon Meredith and Edna Meredith Goff.  He was married to his devoted wife of thirty-seven years, Donna Meredith, who survives.

Timmie retired as a overhead electrical distribution foreman from Pike Electric.  He was a member of Christian Home General Baptist Church and Washington Meredith Lodge #355 F&AM.  He was also a former member of Kyrock Fire Department and an E.M.T.  Timmie loved his girls and his family beyond measure.  He most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren hunting, fishing and shooting guns.

Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— five daughters, Tamara Sanders, Kandi Minton and her husband, Chad, Charlenda Carroll and her husband, Nick, Jessica Meredith and Donetta Meredith and her husband, Justin; nine grandchildren, Bret Hayes and his wife, Holly, Colt Hayes and his wife, Kennedy, Alston Skaggs and his fiancee’, Olivia, Logan Minton, Lilli Minton, Gavin Meredith, Eli Meredith, Meredith Sanders and Emma Carroll; one great-grandchild, Lincoln Arnold-Skaggs; three brothers, R.L. Meredith, Michael Meredith and his wife, Joyce and Terry Meredith and his wife, Aleta; two sisters, Vickie Marlow and Yolanda Vincent and her husband, James, along with several nieces, nephews and life-long friends.  Aside from his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Ollie Hayes.

Funeral Service for Timmie Meredith will be at 2 pm, Tuesday atChristian Home General Baptist Church.  Interment will be in the Brite-Meredith Cemetery.  Visitation begins at 2 pm, Monday, at Christian Home General Baptist Church.   A masonic service will be held there Monday evening at 7 pm.
