Edna Marie Jordan

Edna Marie Jordan, age 88 of Glasgow died Wednesday,  March 10, 2021 at T.J. Samson Hospital.  The Edmonson County  native was born on October 24, 1932 to the late Clell Childress and Myrtle Lindsey Childress.  She was married to the late William Porter Jordan.  Edna was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.  She leaves to honor her memory a daughter , Sharon Jordan Overfelt of Glasgow; grandson Ross Overfelt (Dana) of Horse Cave; granddaughter, Amanda Catherine Pugh (Corey) of Glasgow ; eight great-grandchildren, two brothers Alton Childress of Bowling Green and Lanny Childress of Rocky Hill; two sisters Virgie Brown of California and Leoda Childress of Rocky Hill.  Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers Wayne, Leonard and Jimmy Childress and sister Lillie Childress.  Services for Edna Marie Jordan will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Patton Funeral Home’s Park City Chapel, with burial in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.  Visitation begins Saturday morning at 11 am.
