Roberta Lee Fields, age 60, of Glasgow, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was of the Christian faith and a Glasgow native. She was born on September 13, 1960. She married her husband James Fields on April 2, 1978 at the Glasgow Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
She was proceeded in the death by her parents, Herman and Mildred Houchens and her brother, Jimmy Houchens.
She is survived by her husband, James Fields; one son, James Ray Fields; two daughters, Cassondra Lee Huffer (Matt) and Amanda Fields (Rob Jahnigen); eight grandchildren, Jacob Highbaugh, Lana Fields, James Carter Fields, Dalton Adams, Karmyn Fisher, Charlotte Jahnigen, Austin Jahnigen, and Wesley Huffer; one great grandchild, Ally Jo Marie Riley; three brothers, Donald Houchens (Barbara), Bobby Houchens, and Billy Houchens (Brenda); two sisters, Vickie Fraizer and Patricia Jones (Eddie); several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 11th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday morning until time for services at the funeral home.
All those who wish to honor and remember Mrs. Fields in person at the service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing for the safety of those in attendance.
