Norma Lyons, age 90, of Glasgow, died Thursday, March 4, 2021 at NHC HealthCare in Glasgow. She was born in Glasgow on February 26, 1931, to the late Charles Robert Alexander and the late Floyd (Chitwood) Alexander. She was a retired sewing operator from Handmachers and attended Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Lyons of Cave City; one daughter, Brenda Grinstead of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Jeff Dale of Glasgow, Tracy Russell (Bobby) of Glasgow, Andy Grinstead (Aimee) of Glasgow, and Emily Lyons of Lousivlle; four great grandchildren, Trista Russell Secula, Natalie Russell, and, Easton and Emerson Grinstead, all of Glasgow; one great great grandchild, Emry Secula of Glasgow; one sister, Carolyn Adams (Pat) of Houston, TX; two sisters in law, Juanita Alexander of Bowling Green and Dorothy Alexander of Woodburn; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard “Bubby” Lyons; one son, Robert Dale; three brothers, Henry, Charles and Ray Alexander; two sisters, Arlene Alexander and Doris Meade; one daughter in law, Trisha Dale; one son in law, Robby Grinstead.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 7th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM Sunday, until time for the service.

All those who wish to honor and remember Ms. Lyons in person at the service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing for the safety of those in attendance.
