Helen Joyce Trent, age 75, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. She was a native of Cave City and a retired book keeper from Radio One in Louisville. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and jewelry making. She was co-owner/operator of Trent’s Heating and Cooling in Horse Cave.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kerry Lane Trent; her parents, Claud and Annie Ruth Turner and her mother, Ersie Turner; three brothers, Owen, Bobby, and Donnie Turner; one sister, Marilyn Smith.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Trent, of Hodgenville; and numerous extended family.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Barren Run Cemetery in Sonora. Visitation will be held at Winn Funeral Home from 3-7 p.m. Central Standard Time on Friday, March 5, 2021.
