Robert L. Davis, age 85 of Brownsville, departed this life on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on September 22, 1935 to the late Conrade and Cherry Crump Davis. He was married to Yvonne Ray Davis, who preceded him in death.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War era. He retired as a manager from Border’s Ice Cream. Robert was a member of New Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to honor his memory– two sons, Travis Davis (Rhonda) and Anthony Davis (Teresa) all of Brownsville; three grandchildren, J.B. Logsdon (Natalee), Clay Davis and Jaxon Davis; two great-grandchildren, Tynlee Logsdon and Adlee Logsdon; four siblings, Georgia Johnson, Catherine Vincent, Linda Renfrow and Sammy Parker (Jewell). Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Karli Sha Davis and siblings, Flora Ann Browning, Kenton Davis, Evelyn Carroll, Elizabeth Vincent, Wynelia Cassady and Navajo Vincent.
Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery.
