Several reports of localized flooding were made early Sunday as rain continued to fall across the region.
Emergency crews in Barren and Hart Counties warn of rising waters and water over roadways. The areas will become increasingly dangerous throughout the evening.
“If you come up on a road that has water over the roadway, make a safe turn around,” said Glasgow/ Barren County Emergency Management.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Department warns of rising water in several areas too.
“There aren’t enough people or opportunities for signs to be placed in many areas that pose hazardous risks,” the HCSO said in a Facebook post.
Several areas in east Barren County like Siloam Road and Green Valley Road have reported flooding. Areas may not be marked but are still considered dangerous if water covers the roadway.
