James O. “Jim” Edmunds, 74, of Adolphus, KY passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.  The Portland, TN native was the former co-owner of J & D Tire in Scottsville, KY and the Spur Station in Portland, TN and a Viet Nam U. S. Army Veteran.  He was a son of the late Robert Henry Edmunds and Lillian Earline Carter Edmunds. 

He is survived by 1 son:  David Cassada and wife, Shawn, Adolphus, KY; 

5 daughters:  Suzette Taylor and husband, Chris, and Jacqueline Fowle, all of Castalian Springs, TN; Penny Sullivan, Westmoreland, TN; Patty Cassada and Wade Roark, Lafayette, TN and Christina Chambers and husband, David, Adolphus, KY;  2 sisters:  Barbara Bradley and husband, Wayne, Canton, GA and Nancy Kerschner, Indianapolis, IN; 

4 brothers:  David Edmunds and wife, Linda, Selmer, TN; Robert Edmunds and wife, Amy, Springfield, TN; John Edmunds and wife, Michele and Alton Edmunds and wife, Tracie, all of Indianapolis, IN; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by a step mother:  Hazel Edmunds. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.  According to the Kentucky Funeral Director’s Association, social distancing and face masks are required and there is NO PUBLIC lounge available.
