GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow Police responded to Woodlawn Street on Tuesday in reference to a reckless driving complaint.
Police located a vehicle and made contact with the driver. The operator evidently demonstrated signs of intoxication because authorities completed a field sobriety test.
Bridget Williams failed the tests. She was impaired.
Officers located several pills inside the vehicle. Those pills were identified as methylphenidate, according to a GPD news release.
Williams was arrested and charged with several charges including improperly driving on the left side of the road, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under the influence (second offense). She also faces charges relating to drug possession.
Williams is lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.
