Warren County man faces several charges in child sexual abuse investigation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Warren County man was arrested Tuesday on charges related to child sexual abuse.

Kentucky State Police said Tristan S. Wallace, 21, was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crimes Branch began the investigation after Wallace was discovered engaging in sexually explicit communication with a child online.

Wallace’s home was searched Feb. 23 and equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized. The investigation is ongoing.

Wallace is charged with one count of prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor and three counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. Both charges are Class-D felonies.

He also faces three counts of distribution of obscene matter to minors. That charge is a Class-A misdemeanor.

Wallace is lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
