Frankfort, KY. (December 4, 2020) – Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort was contacted just before 9:00 am this morning in reference to a fatal collision that occurred on Glenns Creek Road in Franklin County.
The initial investigation indicates that Gary Tate, 48 years old of Frankfort, KY, was operating an orange 2019, Artic Cat utility vehicle on Glenns Creek Road. While traveling northbound, Mr. Tate lost control of his vehicle leading to a collision. As a result of the collision Gary Tate was fatally injured, and pronounced deceased at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 12 Trooper Derris Hedger. He was assisted by additional KSP Post 12 personnel, Franklin County Fire Department, and Frankfort EMS.
