Geneva Nell (Bow) Botts, 81, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Signature Healthcare of Monroe. She was born on January 2, 1939, to the late Richard and Della Pearl was a member of Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Billy Joe Botts (Gay); two daughters; Sharon Barnard (Bob), and Teresa Anderson (Tim) all of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; a sister, Dimple Hale (Archie); two brothers, Leon Bowe (Peggy), and Randy Bow (Sharon), all of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Dallas Bowles, Beverly Draper, Melissa Buck, Lindsey Watson (Josh), Joseph Fister (Sara), and Leigha Page (Travis); eight great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Bowles, D.J. Draper, Luke Watson, Zoey Fister, Weston Page, Paisley Graves, Jaxon Watson, and Mayleigh Page also survives. In addition to her parents and spouse she was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Bow; one sister Bonnie (Bow) Jones. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning after 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the home of Jimmy Ray Gearlds with burial to follow in the Bowman Poplar Log Cemetery. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the Bowman Poplar Log Cemetery in memory of Mrs. Geneva Botts and can be made at the funeral home. For the protection of Mrs. Bott’s family, it is kindly asked for everyone coming to the service to abide by Governor Beshear’s recommendation of wearing a mask and practice social distancing.
