FOUNTAIN RUN, Ky. – Kentucky State Police is still searching for two people that were involved in a double homicide in Monroe County on Sept. 20.
Police responded to White Oak Ridge Road in Monroe County to find Trevor Cleary, 20, and Austin Copas, 19, dead with gunshot wounds to their heads.
KSP said arrest warrants were obtained for Edward Whitledge, 29, of Bakersfield, Calif., and Kayla Spivey, 28, of Hiham, Tenn.
Whitledge is described as a 5-feet 9-inches tall white male with hazel eyes and brown hair. He has an active arrest warrant for two counts of murder.
Spivey is a 5-feet 4-inches tall female with brown eyes and red hair. Spivey is wanted on two counts of complicity to commit murder.
The two were last seen driving a black 2009 Nissan Altima with Tennessee license plate DP68781.
KSP asks anyone with information to contact authorities at (800) 222-5555. The suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.
