GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow Police is investigating after a rock was purportedly thrown through the window of the Barren County Habitat for Humanity Re-Store’s window sometime last night.
Melissa Smith, manager, said staff saw the broken window upon their arrival to work early Friday. The façade includes several large panes of glass, and one was destroyed with a large rock.
“As of today, we have taken, probably, a couple of complaints of windows being broken all along that route,” said Glasgow Police Public Information Officer Mjr. Terry Flatt. “A couple of the businesses have reported it.”
Flatt said officers were reviewing security footage at AutoSpa, which is near the Re-Store.
Police are searching for leads in this investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Glasgow Police Department.
“We just ask, if anybody saw anything out of the ordinary last night to call in and give us some information,” Flatt said.
Glasgow Glass also suffered a broken window. The business sets behind Dollar General along West Main Street in Glasgow.
