Roland Dale Shelton, 50, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Indianapolis, IN native was a carpenter and a son of the late Roland C. Shelton and Matilda Frances Spearing Shelton.
He is survived by his wife: Angela Shelton, Scottsville, KY;
5 sons: Cody Weaver, Oregon; Shawn Doering , Dylan Hardin and Landon Shelton, all of Scottsville, KY and Wesley Posey, TN;
1 step daughter: Sarah Shelton, Paintsville, PA;
2 brothers: Tandy Rardon, IN and Steven Loy, Martinsville, IN;
2 sisters: Deborah King, Scottsville, KY and Debbie James, IN;
2 granddaughters;
Several nieces and nephews and
A special friend: Paul Kirk, Fountain Run, KY.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be held at Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery at a later date. Cremation was chosen, and Goad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
