Mary Ellen London, 68, Edmonton, died Sunday, September 6, 2020,
at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. A native of Hiseville, she was a daughter of
the late James and Gertrude Burnette Byrd. She was a retired inspector at
Sumitomo.
Survivors include two sons: Michael Glass and his wife Kelly, and
Timmy Glass and his wife Lea; one grandson, Braxton Glass; four
step-grandchildren: Amber Glass, Brittany Ennis, Lauren Hawkins, and Railey
Lobb; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Sheila Estes and her husband
Larry; a special friend, Butch Cribb.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher &
Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will
be after 8 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and
memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given
time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing
will be necessary; and face coverings are required.
