Marilyn Kay Cowles, 72 of Bowling Green passed peacefully at Greenview Regional Hospital surrounded by family.
She was a daughter of the late Walter Scott Ellis and Geraldine Parker Ellis and is preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Cowles. She was in customer service.
Her survivors include her daughter: Twila Cleveland (Scott) and her son, Thomas F. Cowles; Seven grandchildren, Joel Bustin, Denise Evitts (Daniel), Andrew Cowles, Andrea Cowles, Matthew Cowles, Bristol Cowles, Justin Hunter; three step grandchildren, Chris, Cory and Abby Cleveland; two great grandchildren, Dalton Evitts and Chance Cleveland; two daughters-in-law, Penny Webb and Jessica Cowles; one brother, David Hamilton (Cindy) and many members of the Cleveland family and friends.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services were entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
