GLASGOW, Ky. – An accident in Glasgow sent one man to the hospital.
Glasgow Police responded to the intersection of West Main Street and Veterans Outer Loop on Aug. 19. A truck had collided with another vehicle.
A 2012 Chevy truck was traveling northbound on Veterans Outer Loop, and it hit a Chevy Avalanche that was traveling southbound on Veterans Outer Loop.
The driver of the Avalanche, identified as DeWayne Poynter, was attempting to turn onto West Main Street when the vehicles crashed, a GPD news release said.
Josue Carranza-Angel, of Bowling Green, was driving the Chevy truck.
Poynter was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
