Edward Eldon Grinstead, 88, of Lexington, KY and formerly of Scottsville, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor, a farmer and member of the Scottsville Church of Christ where he formerly served as deacon and song leader.  He was the son of the late Eldon Grinstead and Lorene Johnson Grinstead and husband of the late Nina Mae Rather Grinstead. 

He is survived by 3 daughters:  Darlene Hoover, Frankfort, KY; Marla Grinstead (Dan), Scottsville, KY and Dana White and husband, David, Lexington, KY; 

1 sister:  Alice Brown, Adolphus, KY; 5 grandchildren:  Jason Rolett (Elizabeth), Jeremy Rolett (Phuong), Heather Grinstead (Mike), Bailey White and Dylan White; 4 great grandchildren:  Edward Rolett, Olivia Grace Rolett, Alyssa Bustamante and Noah Bustamante. 

He was preceded in death by a sister:  Jean Marsh. 

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Scottsville Church of Christ with Bro. Mitchell Covington and Bro. Randy Wells officiating and burial at a later date in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the Scottsville Church of Christ.
