Helena S. Avery, age 94, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 in Mason, OH. She was a retired telephone operator for GTE and a member of Munfordville Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin B. Smith and the late Sarah Ann Powell Smith and wife of the late Clifton Avery.
She is survived by two sons, Clifton Gary Avery (Alice), Tyler, TX, David Ray Avery (Sandy), Mason, OH; two grandchildren, Malcolm Blake Avery, Morgan Leigh Avery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM CT Thursday, August 13, 220 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:30 AM CT, Thursday, August 13, 2020 with Bro. Gerald Murphy and Bro. Paul Hines officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
