Carolyn (Baskett) Crowe

Carolyn (Baskett) Crowe, 74, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, July 17th, at TJ Samson Hospital due to an automobile accident. Carolyn was born in Monroe County, KY on June 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Wilma (Roddy) and Herman Baskett. On July 2, 1976, she married Kenneth Crowe. Kenneth preceded her in death on February 25, 2016.

Carolyn was retired from Belden. She was currently the Secretary at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member.

Carolyn is survived by two sons Shawn Guffey, and wife, Beth, of Tompkinsville, KY; Christopher Crowe, and wife, Melisa of Cartersville, GA; a daughter, Stephanie Cox, and husband, Scott of Greenville, TN; ten grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Winningham, Garrett Wayne Crowe, Mark Lee Winnigham, Jr., Hannah Brooke Guffey, Christian Tyler Crowe, Alyssa Megan Crowe, Nathan Scott Crowe, Leigha Nicole Guffey, Megan Renee Cox and Madison Dianah Cox; and two great grandchildren, Warren Bennett Crowe and Brayton Alexander Avery. She is also survived by a sister, Colleen Lee, and husband, Dickie of Glasgow, KY.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church, 302 N Magnolia, Tompkinsville, KY, at 1PM. Burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation is Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home from 3-8 PM., and Wednesday after 9 AM until service time at 1 PM at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Tompkinsville First Baptist Church Youth Group.
