Wilda Cowles Alford, 85, of Chalybeate passed away at 6:20 PM Wednesday July 15, 2020 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Warren County native was a teacher supervisor for Edmonson County Schools and a member of Otter Gap Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Bacle Cowles and Versie Jaggers Cowles.
Visitation will be 3-6 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private. Burial will take place in Otter Gap Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Ronell Alford; two daughters, Jackie Alford and Becky Brannon (Todd) both of Bowling Green; a sister, Jessie Graham (Ralph) of Louisville; a brother, William Cowles (Dora) of Oakland; two sisters-in-law, Carol Owens of Las Vegas and Norma Wilson of Louisville; two grandsons, Andy Alford (Jenny) and Brett Brannon; two great grandsons, Tucker and Lincoln Alford; several nieces and nephews; and her caregivers, Brenda Linder, Kathy Cherry, Glenda Davis, Mona Basham and Diane Eakles.
