GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow Police conducted a series of traffic stops recently and arrested several people.
July 12, 2020
Two people were arrested during a traffic stop along Westwood Drive Sunday.
Police received consent to search the vehicle and located methamphetamine inside a purse and marijuana inside the front passenger door. Authorities determined the drugs belonged to Katelyn Coleman.
Coleman was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana.
Another passenger was identified as Chadrick Bulle. He was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine. Thee drugs were discovered inside his pant pocket.
Police arrested a Glasgow man after they responded to a local hotel.
Officials responded to Holiday Inn Express in reference to a suspicious person attempting to get inside the lobby.
Police made contact with Joshua Fleet and determined he was under the influence of drugs. He also had methamphetamine on his person when police searched him.
Fleet faces charges relating to public intoxication (controlled substance), first degree possession of a controlled substance (third or greater offense, methamphetamine) and second degree disorderly conduct.

A stop along North L. Rogers Wells on Saturday resulted in the arrest of Shatrea Shanea Bolling of Glasgow.
Bolling was driving her vehicle when stopped by Detective Wesley Hicks. The detective detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person, a news release said. After field sobriety tests and investigation, Bolling was determined to be under the influence. Her license was also suspended.
Bolling was arrested and faces charges relating to operating a motor vehicle under the influence (third offense), driving DUI suspended license (first offense) and possession of an alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. She also faces several other traffic offenses.
Another traffic stop along East Main Street resulted in the discovery of someone who failed to register with the sex offender registry.
Police made contact with Timothy Johnson, of LaFayette, Tenn., during a traffic stop.
Johnson was arrested and charged with failure to comply with the sex offender registration (first offense) as well as several other traffic related offenses.

Local authorities responded to Long John Silvers in reference to a subject making threats in the parking lot.
Police saw the individual get inside a vehicle as they were approaching the parking lot. They performed a traffic stop along Wall Street.
An officer made contact with Travis Cox, of Cave City, and conducted field sobriety tests. He ran from police before he was apprehended in Arbys’ parking lot.
Cox was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (second offesne), first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense), possession of marijuana, second degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A car containing drugs was located along Newman Street.
GPD conducted a traffic stop along the roadway and made contact with Misty B. Johnson. Authorities searched the car.
Police discovered methamphetamine, a syringe and digital scales.
Johnson was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (second offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Glasgow Police conducted a traffic stop along Happy Valley Road in the parking lot of WalMart.
An officer made contact with Ricky Pickens and determined he was impaired after field sobriety tests. Pickens also had Valium and Klonopin pills inside his shoes.
Pickens, of Glasgow, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence (third offense), third degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and prescription controlled substance not in the proper container.

A vehicle driving over 100 mph was stopped by Glasgow Police.
An officer conducted a traffic stop along Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway and S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard.
The officer observed a speeding vehicle and attempted to stop it. However, that vehicle turned off its lights and exited the parkway onto Scottsville Road.
Robert E. Walsh, of Columbia, was arrested and charged with speeding 26 mph or more over the limit, reckless driving, first degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, first degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, operating a motor vehicle under the influence (first offense) and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.
