Emma Grace Ulm, age 16, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
Born May 18, 2004, in Richmond, Indiana, to Keith Frederick and Dawn Hood Ulm, Emma was a life-long resident of Richmond. She was a junior at Centerville High School, where she played volleyball and basketball and participated in track and field. Emma was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. She loved reading, watching Charmed, hanging out with her friends, and boating and spending time at Lake Lakengren in Eaton, Ohio. Emma was a movie fanatic. She was smart and beautiful, the kind of girl who lit up every room. Emma was also caring, courageous, and strong, a true rock for many people. She was a hard worker and incredibly determined in all that she did. Emma was the best little sister in the world and forever ‘Daddy’s Girl’ and ‘Mommy’s Mini-Me’.

Survivors include her parents; sister, Abby Loren Ulm of Richmond; grandparents, Gordon (Marilyn) Ulm of Cincinnati, Ohio, Myrna Barnes of Cincinnati, and Gary (Lynne) Hood of Crestview Hills, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Ken (Shonda) Ulm of West Harrison, Indiana, Tina (Bruce) Simmons of Glasgow, Kentucky, and Chris (Tom) Hoferer and Matt (Jamie) Hood, both of Cincinnati; cousins, Piper, Austin, and Micah Ulm, Jacob, Rachel, and Catherine Hoferer, Hannah Edmunds, Haleigh Simmons, and Nickolas and Alexis Hood; and many friends, including special friend, Tyler Vredeveld.

Visitation for Emma Grace Ulm will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2020, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Liberty Church of Christ, 102 South Main Street, Liberty, Indiana, with David Soper officiating.
