GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow woman was placed in jail on Monday after a traffic stop.
An officer conducted a traffic stop along S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard. Authorities made contact with Kristi D. Polston, ??, and conducted a search of her vehicle.
Police discovered a glass pipe and methamphetamine. After performing field sobriety tests, police determined Polston was under the influence.
Polston was arrested and charged with failure of owner to maintain required insurance (first offense), failure to produce an insurance card, reckless driving, failure to notify address change to the Department of Transportation, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
