Cora Nell Forrest, 97, formerly of Glasgow, died Saturday, July 4,
2020 in LaPorte, Texas. A native of Metcalfe County, she was a daughter of
the late Ed and Myrtie Starks Barton. She was a retired seamstress at
Handmacher Fashions in Glasgow and the widow of the late Robert Lynn
Forrest.
Survivors include one daughter Bobbie Carol Moutz of Houston, TX;
four grandchildren: Christy Mansfield of Glasgow, and Nicole Moutz, Nathan
Moutz, and Michael Moutz, Jr. all of Texas; great-grandchildren: Anthony
Moutz, Amy Mansfield Hall, Ben Mansfield, Katy Mansfield, Tyler Moutz, Eli
Garcia, Logan Garcia, Evan Garcia, Cooper Moutz, and Charlotte Moutz; four
great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death
by a step-daughter, Wanda Graham and her husband Rev. Walter Jewell Graham
of Glasgow along with five brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Liberty
Cemetery. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements entrusted to
Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
